Christmas Programs
The week before last, Cody had two Christmas programs. One was at his preschool and the other was at church. This is the last year of Christmas programs for our kids as Cody will be in Kindergarten next year. So, kind of bittersweet to watch them. He is my singer and LOVES music, but the closer the programs got, the less interested he seemed. In fact, he yawned several times on stage in both programs.....later he told us "standing there makes me legs tired". :o) He did a good job both days and it was such fun to watch him.
All dressed up for singing! He wore this to both programs.
The preschool program. All the pre-K students.
A close-up at the preschool program. We were in the balcony--so it's a little blurry.
Here he is at church...he's looking for us! :o)

Your descriptions and pictures brought back many memories of years of program practices and then the BIG event. Since you reference this as the "last", evidently the boys' grade school does not have programs for Christmas. The songs sung by children with smiles in their voices and looking for their special guests in the audience were always a beautiful gift to all of us and truly gave us a special Christmas joy!
