Birthday revisited

The Saturday after Trevor's birthday (one week later) we finally got to celebrate! After his last basketball game, we went to eat at the Cracker Barrell with Gumma, Poppy, Aunt Libby and "soon-to-be Uncle" Ross. :o) Trevor was so excited to get to celebrate! He ordered a chicken sandwich--which surprised the waitresses, I think, but he ate nearly all of it! (He is a growing boy!!) :o) Since it was his birthday, he got to choose any dessert off the menu--he chose------Vanilla Ice Cream! :o) Can't believe he passed up chocolate, but....his choice! The waitresses gathered around and announced his birthday and sang to him--he loved it!! Coincidentally, we ate at the Cracker Barrell after his 1st birthday party too! That time, he cried when they sang to him! :o) He was so excited to recieve a new DS game--the one he's wanted and a new Wii game too! It's so nice that the Lord gives us opportunities to turn beauty from ashes--we were so disappointed to not get to celebrate on his birthday, but we were given another moment which brought him great joy! Just a way to make the birthday last longer!
