First Day of Preschool

Yesterday was a soggy, RAINY, start to Cody's last year of preschool. It poured and poured all night until noon! In the past 3 years (this is the 4th) that we've gone to FUMP (First United Meth Preschool), we have never had a rainy first day! In fact, in the 5 years of taking "first day of school" pictures, we've never had to use umbrellas! This was a first!

Cody was excited to start school--but disappointed when I told him I would walk him into his classroom. (He wanted to be dropped off in the parking lot!) :o) He went right in and found his "locker", put his backpack up and found his chair. There was playdough waiting for him! He greeted his friends, Ky and Sophie and had to be reminded to give me a hug! :o) Yesterday was "extended day" so he got to stay for lunch too. Usually, he likes to stay, but not sure if he liked it yesterday, with new kids....It won't take long for him to get to know them and to get back into preschool. To me, it felt like we picked up right where we left off! We love this preschool! What a fun year he's going to have!
