A few weeks ago, we were outside in our backyard, watching Poppy help unload his tractor for us to do some dirt work. Gumma and I were talking and watching, when she yelled out. We glanced down and I yelled....something brown and small scattered in several directions. After a couple seconds, we realized she'd stepped on a rabbit hole. There were four baby rabbits that ran out from the hole. Bless their hearts, they were scared. We chased a couple onto our back porch and tried our best to grab ahold of one. We were just about as skiddish as they were! We handled them with gloves on, just to be safe. :o) We pet them and then returned two to their home, two were still missing. The next evening, we found the other two not far from their home. They were cold and scared. We tried to return them home but there wasn't enough room. Within another day, the hole was empty. Guess it was time for them to leave anyway.
