Cody made it to Sound Hound yesterday. This means he knows all of his letter sounds. We worked on this just a handful of times here at the house. The first time I pulled out Trevor's old sounds worksheet, Cody looked at it and with each letter knew hand motions and each sound that accompanied it. His teacher had made hand motions and something to associate each letter and sound. He has his Sound Hound "necklace" on in the picture---which he wore ALL afternoon, even to play with neighbor kids! He will receive a certificate and a "bone" with his name on it to place on the wall in the school cafeteria....just like he did with the Cardinal Star. We are so proud of Cody and all his hard work! We celebrated again with ice cream. Next up is counting to 100!

Sound Hound
