Trevor's words. He had such a good time with his friends! Cody and I picked him up at camp yesterday afternoon, since camp is just a few miles away from mom and dad's house. We swam with Gumma and then headed home to unwind before early bedtime! Believe me....it was needed!! :o) His favorite part was swimming and getting to have snacks....but we heard about so many things, it would be hard to pick just one favorite. Sounds like it was just jam-packed fun!! It was VERY HOT!!!! Yesterday hit 98 with a heat index of 110!! Good thing the cabins and main meeting hall were air conditioned! Pastor Jim--the Children's Minister at our church--does a great job of making church fun for these kids. He gets them actively learning about the bible. We are so thankful for him and all of his hard work. Pastor Jim told me I would have been proud of Trevor, he was a great camper! We are so proud of him for going, even though it was something he was really unsure about and had never done before. Trevor is already looking forward to next year!
All of the 1st and 2nd grad campers. Pastor Jim is in the center in the back--brown shirt.
