Hi-Ho it's off to Camp Trevor goes

Trevor left for church camp this morning! He was excited and nervous. He's gone back and forth since sign-ups on "yes I want to go/no I'm not going". :o) We got him pumped up for camp last weekend and he's remained that way since. Camp is Monday through Tuesday at 2:00. So just over night, but this is his first time away from home like this--not being with family. He's got his buddy Charlie (and all his other friends) so that helps. Charlie and Trevor sit with each other at church every week. They are good friends. We met at the church at 8 this morning to get all checked in and the bus left about 8:45. They are all SO excited! (We need to remember to pray for the adult helpers!) :o) We are thrilled b/c Trevor's group leader is someone Trevor knows well and he'll have fun with him! We can't wait to hear all about the fun they had swimming and playing flashlight tag and of course, the snacks. (That is what Trevor is really pumped about--visiting the Canteen for snacks!) :o) He told me yesterday at church he told Charlie, "Our moms won't be there, so we can eat whatever we want!" :o) The camp Trevor's going to is in Everton, which is actually about 10 miles from mom and dad's house, so I will pick him up there tomorrow afternoon and we'll go swim at Gumma and Poppy's! I'll post an update on how it went!
