Swimming Mini Pool Style

We got a new swimming pool. We had one of those "snap set" pools that you just open up and fill, but the water gets so yucky after a day of swimming that you have to dump it and refill it too much. Nathan thought it would be better to have a filter to avoid having to refill the pool all the time. We found a mini-pool (my words) that is just right. We set it up Saturday and the boys tried it out as soon as it was ready. They LOVE it!! It's just deep enough that they can go underwater and stuff, but not so deep that lifejackets are needed. The water comes to Cody's waist. So nice for him. (When we go to Gumma and Poppy's pool, he still needs his lifejacket--not as tall as Trevor) :o) Last night we had a family swim in the mini pool. :o) It was fun! We felt a little silly as the pool is so small and most of our neighbors have in-ground or large above ground pools, plus there's not much room to swim around, but just right to cool off in this hot and already-too-humid weather! It was great family fun!
Setting up, filling up the ring topAlmost there.....Mini-Pool....ready to swim!Swimming!!Thanks Daddy for the pool!

My parents have one similar and the kids just love it!! We have the snap kind you had and we had the same problem - it would get all slick and slimmy in a day.
