Family Feast

Happy Thanksgiving! The other night when I tucked Cody in to bed, he asked me if, when he woke up, it would be our "feast" day? (His preschool had a thanksgiving "feast" with crackers, pretzels, grapes, etc, as did Trevor's class too.) It was just Tuesday night, so I explained, no, tomorrow's Wednesday.... to which he replied "What does that mean?" :o) Today is our "feast" day. We are so thankful to be joining together once again to fellowship and "feast" on the many good foods the Lord has blessed us with. We also take a moment to "feast" on all of the many blessings--aside from food--that the Lord has given. His Grace, His Love, His Mercy.....all of us so undeserving, yet He so freely gives. We are thankful for the Lord's leading in our lives, for our family, for our health, for our friends and for our freedom. Thank you Lord Jesus!! Take a moment today and "feast" on the Lord's goodness and blessings in your life.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Herndons!
