Holy, Moly....it's COLD!

Temperatures outside have not been above freezing all week long! Now, I know we are not the coldest in the country, but it is FRIGID! School was out Monday for snow and out again yesterday (TH) and today for the cold temps. We have stayed inside for the most part....we ventured out yesterday to rent a movie and a Wii game for entertainment on our hibernation. :o) Funny, this cold doesn't seem to phase Max in the least. I have expected him to hurry out to potty and hurry himself back in but, instead, he likes to sit (as best he can on the frozen, snowy ground--he wants to badly to sit, but you can tell it's just too cold for his furry tushie) and sniff the air--listen for sounds and just feel that arcitc wind blowing (and possibly freezing) in his fur. We have to escort Max out on a leash to potty--he's not too obedient when it comes to the boundaries of his yard and the call of the wild is too strong--so it's not fun to have to subject ourselves to the elements any longer than needed. We are ever-so-thankful for our warm home--for shelter, heat, food. It is snowing here now--beautiful flurries. And we are inside.....where we will stay the remainder of the weekend! :o) Stay warm!
