The "unofficial" start to summer

I know Memorial Day weekend is the "official" start to summer, but we decided to welcome summer a weekend early. We opened the pool on Saturday. Well.....more like got the pool out of the basement and filled it up. But opening the pool sounds more summerish. It was such a beautiful day on Saturday, I told the boys we could get the pool out for awhile. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves.....and shivered and played and shivered and played...... the cold water didn't bother them.....much. :-)
