Time's Up

School starts tomorrow for Trevor. (Cody's pre-K doesn't start until after Labor Day). So, today is the last day of summer vacation. We are just hanging out today. It's cloudy and somewhat rainy. Too bad.....it'd be nice to spend the last day of summer vacation swimming and soaking up the sun! We have had such a wonderful summer!! We have taken several weekend trips to Branson, Kansas City and Omaha. We've gone to baseball camp and stayed overnight at church camp! We had so much fun going to Poppy and Gumma's house to swim and got to have some overnight visits there too without mom and dad! We caught lightening bugs, went swimming in the dark, shot off fireworks, ate popsicles and ice cream bars. We watched the Springfield Cardinals play, went boating on the lake, rode roller coasters in the dark and learned how to ride a bike without training wheels! Such a nice summer just enjoying each other and the time off from the hectic schedules that the school year brings. Thank you Lord, for all the fun things we've done this summer.
