Cabin weekend

Last weekend our whole family retreated to a cabin in AR. The cabin has become a favorite for Gumma and Poppy who frequent it several times a year. It's been a couple of years since our family has been there and the boys were so excited to get to go this year! We all met there Friday evening and enjoyed pizza and visiting. Saturday, we cooked a nice breakfast and then headed out for hiking on a nearby trail. We hiked the same trail last time, but took some different stops along the way. This time we hiked to Eden falls....a pretty natural waterfall. Trevor was completely in his element on the hike! He LOVES the outdoors and exploring....especially when there's water!! :o) He and Ross and Libby climbed up right next to the waterfall to get a picture. It was an absolutely beautiful day from the Lord for our hike!! Very comfortable temperatures and clear blue skies and sunshine! After our hike, we ate lunch and took a much-needed nap! ;o) During our nap, it rained and rained! We enjoyed a cozy evening with dinner, birthday celebrations for Gumma and Poppy--who both have March bdays and Nathan--we celebrated early since we will be at Libby and Ross's rehersal/dinner on his birthday. Sunday, we headed home. We all had a nice time together laughing and eating and just enjoying each other's company.
