The last weekend of Spring Break, we got one last blast of winter. Ironically enough, it was also the first day of Spring! It began sleeting/freezing rain/and snowing......but it quickly turned into very wet, heavy snow! We ended up getting around 7 inches here with about and inch or two of sleet at the end. (Of course, after I had put away all the "snow gear"!!) :o) Mom and I met each other that Saturday morning before it all hit to "exchange" the boys who stayed the night with them. On our way home, we ran head first into the storm. Thankfully, we made it home and had no where else to go, so we cozied up and watched the snow! It ended up being a really nice, relaxing weekend! The cancelled church Sunday morning b/c of freezing rain and sleet, but we had such a nice day just being together. What a great way to end our Spring Break. The snow was gone within two days! We sure did enjoy all the beautiful snow the Lord blessed us with this season....even on the first day of Spring!!
