The Green Monster....

....that is POLLEN!!!! It's taken over!! We can literally SEE it on the driveway and it's covering our car. It is wreaking havoc on Nathan, Trevor and especially Cody. Trevor has just recently been affected, but just midly. Nathan has been bothered for nearly a month, but does okay with his Zyrtec pill...unless he's outside for an extended time...then he gets hit bad. I had to take Cody to the Dr. Wednesday b/c he was just so miserable. His little nose was SO STUFFY he couldn't even sleep comfortably. Bless his heart! We had already called the dr's office twice and were given some medicinal suggestions, which we tried, but to no avail. So, yesterday, the Dr. added to our list of medicines! Cody is on 3 different allergy medicines, an anitbiotic, two eye drops, and he has some saline gel for his nose. Poor little guy! His face was all dry and his eyes red from all the rubbing and nose blowing. The Dr suggested vaseline for that. He looks much better today and we're praying with some good rest, the medicine and ultimately the Lord's hand upon him, he will be feeling much better in time to be Libby's ring bearer this weekend! Our weather man said the pollen this year is the highest it's been in years and it will take a good frost or rain to get some relief. There is rain in the forecast for tonight/tomorrow (TH/Fri).....we are hoping for a good washing. I'm even considering parking the car outside to wash it off!! :o) We are ready to bid this green monster good-bye!!!
