Every last minute of vacation

After sleeping in TH morning, enjoying being home, but sad to not be at the beach, Nathan wanted to do something fun as it was still "vacation". He wanted to go canoeing, but some rain was forecasted, so we went to the Ward's instead. We spent Th at mom and dad's swimming and playing. Friday, the 4th, we went to Joe and Christy's (Nathan's older brothers) and the kids played in the kiddie pool and the slip-n-slide and we sat and visited. Good food, too. We left there and bought some fireworks to shoot off at home--we popped popcorn and sat to watch ours and even got to enjoy all the neighbor's displays too--which, to be honest, were much better and more "advanced" than ours. :-) We enjoyed the easy-to-please choices of the boys--at least for this year! :-) Saturday, we were invited up to mom and dad's to swim and go see Wall-E. Trevor began swimming underwater all by himself! We are so proud of him! We had a great time swimming and enjoyed the movie. Sunday, we did our "normal" routine of cinnamon rolls for breakfast and church, lunch/nap and then we went to buy a chainsaw Nathan found in Neosho. We stopped by our friends rental house--Rick and Angie (they lost their house in the tornado). We stayed for over an hour, but the boys all enjoyed playing with each other and we enjoyed good conversation. Now, we're back into our summer "routine"...if you can call it that!

My neice, Kaydley, attempting the slip-n-slide.
Trevor on the slip-n-slide It was hard to catch Cody--he went down so fast!

Taking a break in the water of the slip-n-slide. (My nephew Deric didn't want to get wet)
Watching the fireworks with popcorn!
