Fun at Gammas and Silver Dollar City

We had a great time at Silver Dollar City with Aunt Libby. The boys were SO good!! We rode the mine/shootout ride--the boys' personal favorite and somehow, it's always the first ride we ride. :-) We visited Gyser Gulch--the kids area where you get really wet and you can play with balls. We rode the "big swings" as Trevor refers to them, kiddie coaster, teacups, and other kiddie rides. Trevor and I even did the Lost River of the Ozarks water ride and didn't get too wet....just enough. We visited the SDC jail and the snoring inmate--he's been snoring since I was little. :-) We dipped candles--the boys enjoyed that--it was Cody's first time to dip a candle. We got some SDC saltwater taffy and a funnel cake. A full day, but it was a beautiful day outside...perfect weather. Our week at Gammas consisted of playing--mostly outside--in the sandbox or riding bikes and LOTS of swimming. Trevor started swimming more and more underwater....even touching the bottom of the pool with his hand. He spent his time in the pool jumping off every side of the pool he could and then going under to touch the bottom. Cody impressed us all with his ability to jump in and go under water too. He is really progressing. He's not afraid to put his whole head under water. He's just afraid to jump off the side of the pool.

It was a great week, even though we missed Daddy and Poppy and wished they could have shared in all our fun. Here are some pics from our week.
