Trevor's Upwards Basketball coach put together a trip to Missouri Southern State University (our alma matter) to watch a basketball game. He arranged for our 1st and 2nd grade boys to meet with MSSU's basketball players before the game and then stay to watch them. Wow--they're TALL!! :o) All of Southern's players were SO nice and took their time talking with our team. I'm not sure the younger boys knew what was going on, but they still enjoyed themselves. After meeting the team and grabbing some dinner, we watched the "big boys" play through halftime. (Then it was time for bed!) I don't think the Upwards team did much "watching" they were more excited about sitting together on the bleachers. It was still a great time and such a fun night out.
