A few months ago, we began trying to implement more family time in the evenings. Playing games is one of the ways we like to spend our time together. One of our favorites is UNO Attack. (UNO Attack, is just like the game UNO, only it has a card "dispenser". If you don't have the matching color or number to play, you have to push a button on the dispenser. You never know when the dispenser is going to "generously" dispense the cards. They can just fly right out at you and catch you off guard! Especially, when you have UNO and you're almost done!) Nathan and I love to play this and figured the kids would be able to play as well b/c UNO uses colors and numbers to play. We had to help a bit at first--namely to help them learn the rules of the game--but they are pros now. They love it! For Christmas, I got the boys card holders so they could separate their cards more easily. They love them and it's been a big help to their game. They are getting so good, they know when to play the "gotcha" cards (like Hit 2--which means you have to hit the dispenser button twice) on Nathan and I! :o)
