Nathan was talking with the boys the other night about God sending Jesus to die for our sins. He thought he'd give them an example they could better relate to to help them grasp the concept of God's sacrifice. So, he asked the boys, "What if the circus were coming to town and you really wanted to go, but you didn't have enough money. Wouldn't it be great if someone were to buy you a ticket so you could go to the circus?"
Boys: "Yeah!!"
Nathan: "Well, that's what God did when he sent Jesus to die for our sins. Because Jesus died for you and me, we get to go to Heaven."
Nathan: "So, why did Jesus die for us?"
Cody: "To go to the circus!!!"
