I just had to make a quick post.....the entire outdoors looks like glass today. The sun is shining brightly on the ice laden grass and trees and it is so beautiful--bright, but beautiful. We had about an inch of ice here Monday and snow flurries Tuesday. It was so cold Monday night and Tuesday that nothing melted. Today, the sun is back out and melting away. Outside is a chorus of dripping icicles, (or "ice-mickles" as Cody calls them) and creaking ice covered branches as they blow in the breeze. I am posting pictures of the trees in the front of our house. I don't know if the pictures can do it justice, but thought I'd share.
