Last night was Open House. We got to see Trevor's First Grade classroom and his teacher, Mrs. Mitchell. Trevor is in a different building this year, so we took a few minutes to walk around the building and see the other rooms....I think we will know where we're going..... :-) Trevor was excited to put his supplies inside his desk. Last year he just had a table, so this is the first year for a real desk. There was a goodie bag with some fun treats in it from Mrs. Mitchell. Looks like there will be all new friends in his class too....at least no names that we recognized. Perhaps Trevor will recognize someone from Kindergarten. He's a little concerned at not having all his friends from last year in this class. We did run into McKenna (Trevor's "girlfriend" from Kindergarten). They were overjoyed to see each other....apparently, she has talked a lot about Trevor too! She is in a different class this year too. We are excited for Mrs. Mitchell as a teacher....(we go to church with her as well) she is excited to begin the school year and excited about her first graders! We are off to enjoy this weekend before school starts. We plan to take in the new animated Star Wars movie and some bowling and celebrate Nana's birthday! Happy Birthday Nana!! See you next week!

I think it's funny that McKenna has been talking about Trevor, too, and that they were excited to see each other! He looks excited in his pictures.
