Baby, It's Cold Outside

Our cat has been coming out of "hiding" to enjoy our fireplace.....especially when we have a fire going all day and the room gets really toasty. She usually prefers to snuggle in her "cabin" (a cloth pet bed thing that sets in the corner next to the heat vent). However, the last couple of days, she's actually ventured up to the hearth to sit directly in front of the fire. It was only 15 degrees outside with ice and sleet on the ground Monday.....I think she knew it was really cold.
