Cody was looking at our Christmas tree the other day and then told me: "Mommy, it's almost Christmas. And it's almost Jesus' birthday." He paused for a minute and then said: "Will Jesus come down here for his birthday?......Or will we go up there?" :o)

That is too funny - last night I took Maelynn to our church Christmas play - real animals and all - on the way home she asked if Jesus was coming to our house for his birthday party and would he wear a party hat!! Aren't they the cutest!!
Great parenting job, Mom and Dad Herndon! How super that a child will look at a "Christmas tree" and be so very aware of the association of a Christmas tree --in representing the real meaning of Christmas - Jesus' birthday!
