Loosey Goosey

Trevor has his first loose tooth! We discovered it Sunday night after brushing his teeth. It's the lower left side. It seems pretty loose for just noticing it...but then again, we're not messing with his teeth much either--so it could have been loose for awhile. He has tried to wiggle it with his finger and is getting better....hard to figure out which tooth to touch. :o) He was excited, but then cautionary as we told him the Tooth Fairy would come when it falls out. He didn't want to sleep alone at first....but I explained it will be awhile before the tooth fairy. One of the first things he asked when we noticed the tooth is, "Will I whistle?" We have a Christmas CD that has the song "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth". The person singing the song has a hard time saying things b/c she's missing her two front teeth, but she can whistle. The boys love that song! I explained it won't be quite like that, but after the first one falls out, the others will follow. He is so excited...he has been watching classmates lose their teeth since last year in Kindergarten. He was late to teethe as a baby, so he's late to lose his teeth too. This morning, he told me his teacher has a big tooth on the wall and she writes down who has lost and it waiting to lose teeth. He's very proud to be put on that wall! We will keep you posted on the progress!
