Game # 2

Last Saturday was Upwards game #2. Trevor got to play a lot more. He was MORE THAN EXCITED about his game! He was up early (to our dismay) :o), ate quickly and was dressed in advance! Gumma came to watch at this game--he was so proud. Then, near the end of the first half, his teacher, Mrs. Mitchell showed up! She came to watch 3 of her students (Trevor and his friend Caleb are on the same team. The other student was on another team). All 3 asked her to come and watch them since they would be playing at the same time. (They play on a split gym, so there are two games going simultaneously) Such a nice gesture from such a wonderful teacher!! All 3 boys' faces lit up when they spotted Mrs. Mitchell!! :o) Trevor was awarded the red star for "best defense". He did so good! The boys are really enjoying dribbling when they get the ball....hard to remember to pass the ball! :o) SO much fun to watch. I find myself getting so into the game when Trevor's playing! I'm surprising myself! :o) looking forward to this Saturday's game!
